Tallow Solid Lotion Bar

These are our new favorite! Wisconsin weather can be harsh, and it's harshest on our skin. Itchy, tight skin and cracked fingertips are unwelcome companions. Using gentle goat milk soap goes a long way, but some of us need just a little extra. This lotion bar is suitable for face, hands, and all over! It will stay solid in its tin - just toss into your gym bag or purse.  When you remove it from the tin and hold it in your hand, heat from your body causes it to melt so you can apply it to your skin.

• Tallow is so close to the natural oils in our skin, there's no better nourishing moisturizer to build up and maintain the skin barrier.
• Beeswax moisturizes and locks in moisture while keeping your lotion bar from melting or being greasy.
• Cocoa butter is full of antioxidants and is known for improving skin elasticity.

Dayspring Farm dry skin recommendations:

• Drink lots of water and eat plenty of healthy fats.
• Our Honey Oatmeal soap is our most moisturizing offering - for some folks, using this soap alone will keep skin comfortable despite dry winter air.
• Keep showers warm but not hot - hot water is drying for skin.
• Use tallow lotion bars after showering or washing hands to add and lock in moisture.
• Start your skin care regimen before dry skin starts - it's much easier to maintain skin moisture than fix the problem after it takes hold.

Ingredients: tallow, beeswax, cocoa butter. May contain fragrance. Net wt minimum of 1 oz.

Varieties: Unscented, Juniperberry-Pine, Peppermint, Country Wild Rose, "Hawaiian Breeze" (floral), and "Mountain Morning" (musky lavender-cedar).
